OneBook is operated by Petr Gardian as a sole trader. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What data we collect

• Your name and email address
• Your shipping address (for hardcover orders)
• Your answers to the book questions
• Photos you upload
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)

Why we collect it

We collect this data solely to produce and deliver your book. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract — you ask us to make a book, and we need your data to do so.

Your photos

Your photos are never edited, altered, or used to train AI models. They are used only to place them into your book. They are not shared with any third party beyond what is necessary to produce your order.

Your photos are automatically deleted 30 days after your book is delivered.

How long we keep your data

Your photos are deleted 30 days after delivery. Your PDF file is stored for up to 1 year so you can order the printed hardcover during that period. After that, your data is deleted.

Who we share data with

We use the following services to operate OneBook:

• Stripe — payment processing
• AWS S3 — file storage
• Prodigi — book printing and fulfilment (hardcover orders only)
• Resend — transactional email
• Airtable — order management
• Anthropic Claude API — story generation (text only, no photos)

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email us at hello@onebook.studio.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses the following third-party tools which may set cookies or collect anonymised usage data:

• Meta Pixel — used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may set cookies and track page visits and button clicks.
• Microsoft Clarity — used to understand how visitors interact with the site (session recordings and heatmaps). Data is anonymised and not linked to your identity.

By using this website you consent to this data being collected. You can opt out of Meta tracking via your Facebook ad settings. You can opt out of Clarity via the Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
